Those crazy chocolatiers at Socola have done it again. Now they have a comic telenovela of the origin story of their Sriracha Chili Flying Rooster Truffles.
“For the Love of Chocolate” is a 3-part series of how chocolate bar girl meets and falls in love with hot chili sauce boy. Unfortunately, due to copyright restrictions, the third part was not viewable, so we are left with a real cliffhanger.
But don’t let that dissuade you from enjoying the first 2 parts of this blossoming romance shot around SF and Oakland. It’s full of that unique Socola humor, and you might find it tugging at your heartstrings too. Or maybe it’ll just make you want to go find some good chocolate of your own.
If you can’t view the video here, watch it on YouTube.
Thanks Socola Chocolatier for a fresh, funny take on chocolate making.
A writer/designer, Nancy lives in Oakland with Ronnie (AKA cacaopod), her husband of many years & fellow chocolate enthusiast.
