CU @ SF Chocolate Salon*
UPDATE: The Chocolate Salon has been postponed until May 17 due to concerns about the corona virus in SF. If you already bought a ticket, it will be honored, and tickets are still available.
[*If the corona virus allows,] cacaopod and I are giving a presentation on SFBA wine country chocolate tasting at the 14th annual SF International Chocolate Salon, March 21. We will talk about 2 road trips you can make in wine country, where instead of focusing on wineries, you explore all the local artisan chocolate happening there now.
The Chocolate Salon is from 10–5:30 at the San Francisco County Fair Building/Hall of Flowers in SF’s Golden Gate Park. Our talk is scheduled for noon, and we will also be moderating a panel of chocolate makers and chocolatiers later in the afternoon.
In between, we will be roaming the floor, visiting local chocolate vendors, sampling chocolate, and finding out what’s new in local chocolate in 2020. We encourage you to do the same, and say hi if you see us!
Advance tickets are $20. Same-day tickets can be purchased at the door (if they do not sell out) for $30.
A writer/designer, Nancy lives in Oakland with Ronnie (AKA cacaopod), her husband of many years & fellow chocolate enthusiast.
